Toronto Branch Annual General Meeting, Special Lecture & Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2 - 4pm at the residence of John Wilkes, located on 57 Larabee Crescent, Don Mills. This meeting is open to all Toronto Branch membership, and membership is encouraged to attend. Following the meeting, a special lecture in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland is scheduled 4:30 - 6:30pm at the Munzo Family Alumni Hall, Room 400, University of St. Michael’s College, 121 St. Joseph Street, Toronto, featuring Dr. Conrad Swan on "Heraldry of the Most Serene Commonwealth of the Two Nations" which includes a guest panel comprised of Dr. George Lucki (confirmation of Polish Arms in Canada), Prof. Margaret Nowaczyk (methods and tools of genealogical research), Jerzy Czartoryski (researching family tree) and Ewa Stachniak (highlights from research: Branicki's & Potocki's).
This special lecture is followed by dinner in the Charbonnel Lounge, St. Michael's College, reception at 6:45pm, dinner at 7:30pm. Dress is Black Tie and Decorations/Dark Business Suit). Cost: Lecture & Dinner: $70; Lecture only: $20 (free to students).

Heraldry at the ROM's March Break The Royal Heraldry Society of Canada and members of the Toronto Branch are planning to be on-site at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) for the entire March Break week now, for the third year. As part of the activities scheduled for the week, periodic presentation of the Society's DVD "A Call to Arms", kids designing their own coat of arms, heraldic art exhibit and other relevant heraldic displays. The presentation will be manned by volunteers from the Toronto Branch.
If Toronto members wish to participate in this event and volunteer some of their time, or to help with the setup or take-down of the display, please email the indicating how you may contribute to this project.

14th Century Tournament The Royal Heraldry Society of Canada and members of the Toronto Branch will be participating at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in the second annual medieval tournament organized by Branch member and Past President, David M. Cvet. Society members will play roles such as tournament Heralds and Patron.
If Toronto members wish to participate in this event and volunteer some of their time, or to help with the setup or take-down of the tournament accoutrements, please email the indicating how you may contribute to this project.

Fifth Annual Christmas Dinner The Toronto Branch's "fifth" annual Christmas dinner will be held at Royal Canadian Military Institute on University Ave. located north of Dundas. Street parking may be available. If you are interested in partaking in this celebration of Christmas with the Toronto Branch, email and indicate your intent in attending. Dress is formal. Special guest: Karen Baily, speaker and artist.

Third Annual Christmas Dinner The Toronto Branch held its 3rd Annual Christmas Dinner Royal Canadian Military Institute, Toronto. semi-formal (business suits/blazers). Please email the indicating your intent in attending. Cash bar 6:00pm - 7:00pm followed by dinner in the Library.

Toronto Branch Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2 - 4pm at the Arts & Letters Club, located on Elm Street, Toronto. This meeting is open to all Toronto Branch membership, and membership is encouraged to attend. Following the meeting, a dinner at the Barberian's Steak House (across the street) is scheduled. Dress is semi-formal (jacket, tie).

Royal Heraldry Society of Canada, Toronto Branch Formal Dinner and AGM Royal Canadian Military Institute, TorontoSir Conrad Marshall Swan, KCVO, PhD, FSA, FRHSC, and Branch Patron will be attending. Click dinner details for more information. Dress is black tie with decorations and minutures/optional business suit or blazer. The Toronto Branch AGM will be held prior to the dinner. Members are encouraged to attend this meeting. It will be kept short to about 20 minutes. In the meantime, email the indicating your intent in attending. Special guest: Dr. C. McCreery will highlight his book "The Order of Canada - Its Origins, History and Development", University of Toronto Press, 2005. Harwood, O.C., past principal dancer of the National Ballet of Canada, and recipient of the Order of Canada.
